One of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been – we return every year because of the amazing atmosphere at St. Bathans. The town is an historic gold mining town with roughly 60 residents. There is a blue lake, just down from the tavern that is breathtaking. This lake has a strange bright blue color due to some unusual mix of minerals. This is the kind of place where time slows down and a great destination for romance.
