Psych study that spoilers don’t spoil your reading enjoyment — I’m an avid re-reader, so I agree.

I’ve shared this link on Twitter, but given the role of nostalgia in the appeal of Steampunk, I want to share it here, too, just so I don’t forget it 🙂

If you live in and around Perth, Western Australia, the Save the Children’s fund South of the River book sale starts tonight, 6pm, at the Cannington Exhibition Centre — that place near Carousel shopping centre. Don’t worry, you’ll see signs and tons of avid readers’ cars. It continues over the weekend.

Clair Phillips writes about headlines in a digital age — be search engine friendly and engage human curiosity. I suspect this is a good idea for blog posts as well as articles. Interesting that digital headlines can be longer than paper ones.

Mills & Boon UK is running “New Voices” again — so if you’re a new author with a fab new manuscript, get it in! And if you’re a reader passionate about romance, join the judging and the chat 🙂 I swear, romance readers/writers/editors/everyone can’t do anything without lots of chat. Oh, and chocolate 😉
