I spent a very pleasant couple of hours Wednesday morning (sssshh don’t tell the writing police!) buying books.
Over at the Book Depository I pre-ordered the paperback editions of:
Nalini Singh, Tangle of Need
Ilona Andrews, Steel’s Edge
Patricia Briggs, Frost Burned
Seanan McGuire, Midnight Blue-Light Special
Margaret Maron, Three Day Town
Amanda Quick, Crystal Gardens
Then I went on to Amazon and pre-ordered
***drumroll***
DODGER by Terry Pratchett
Terry Pratchett is my author hero. Brilliant.
I also pre-ordered Bec McMaster’s Kiss of Steel. Steampunk! Yay! (hope the vampires aren’t too scary) and continued the steampunk pre-ordering with Riveted by Meljean Brooks (wow the reviews are hot for this Iron Seas story).
So then, since I was giving the credit card a work out, I wandered over to Betterworld Books for some of the books I can’t get in print. Picked up a couple of Jayne Ann Krentz’s older stories (I am addicted to her books), one Sophie Weston romance I don’t have yet and a handful of Penny Jordan’s category romances.
When all these books finally hit my letterbox or kindle, I shall be a very happy woman. Think I’d best get writing then, so I can justify a reading orgy later on 🙂

Will do on the Pratchett!
In general I'm trying to review more this year — Australian Women Writers Challenge inspired me 🙂
I hope you'll be reviewing some of these. Let me know what you think about the Prachett. I'm still wondering whether to buy it or not. 🙂
