Happy Holidays!

What’s your dream holiday? To relax, I’m happy staying home. Seriously. A day at home without turning on the computer, eating exactly what I want, reading and simply being lazy sounds like heaven.

If I was to travel I’d love to see Europe. Barcelona is calling me and I’d like to see Eastern Europe.

But for sheer relaxed joy, Fremantle, the setting of Drawing Closer, is hard to beat.

  1. And the winner is Lisa!

Thanks, everyone, for dropping in and sharing such an exciting moment with me :) You're all fabulous and I hope you have lovely holidays.

Lisa, I'll send you an email!

  2. Fabulous story Jenny. Great holiday read. Great anytime read really…

Dream holiday…. hmmm….. on my bucket list I have that I want to walk the Milford Sound and live in Italy for 6 months. This year we're off to Taveuni – the Garden Island of Fiji with stunning snorkelling, hiking and general lazing around.

    Talk soon

    Bridget

    1. Thank you :)

I bought myself a new camera the other day. I'm so thrilled that it does everything except tell me what to snap. Perfect for a tech doofus like me … and the digital cameras are so cheap these days (and now I sound really old :) )

  3. Congratulations on the new release, Jenny. Very exciting.

I like staying home at Christmas but I'd love to visit Perth and Fremantle again. Scotland and Canada are on my list and closer to home, Tasmania. It's the only Aussie state I haven't visited.

And right now I am very jealous of Shelley.

    1. D, we'll have to lobby RWAus to run a conference in Hobart, then we can both cross Tassie off our to-visit lists :)

and I'm jealous of Shelley, too. If she tells me she's bumped into any of the stars from Hawaii 5O, there'll be trouble!

      1. Lobbying for Hobart sounds like a good plan, Jenny. :) I'm hoping I make it to next year's conference too.

I liked Alex in Moonlight. I can't get in to the Hawaii 5O show but it would be worth it to go there and see the cast in action. :)

  4. I don't think I really have a place I'd like to spend Christmas, but I would like to have one really white Christmas. lisagk(at)yahoo(dot)com

    1. Lisa, I hope you get your white Christmas.

For me, not so much. I honestly don't like snow — it's like the scrapings from inside a frosted up freezer. LOL I'm so romantic :)

  5. Once I'd like to spend Christmas someplace warm. Where I live, we get snow and it's a cold and gloomy winter. Sitting on the sand watching the ocean waves would be heavenly. Congrats to your new release.

    1. Thanks, Coleen :)

Freo is gorgeous! I hope to see you (& everyone) there in August for RWA13 … then one day, I'll have to brave Sydney. Just the airport there is big enough to panic me ;)
