Writing, writing, writing, but not blog posts

“Hero Duty” needs lots of words if I’m to finish by the end of the month. So I have no words to spare for the blog … well, I do, but that’s called PROCRASTINATION and while I’m a procrastinating wonderwoman, I’m trying not to. A few photos from the garden instead…a garden which hasn’t heard the news that it’s mid-winter.

  1. There's my problem for a start – the soil here is clay. I need to read some gardening books too. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I'd love to know how those blueberries turn out. Not sure they'd grow here. Of course, I'm more interested in the next book. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Happy writing to you, too, D!

Blueberries grow surprisingly well in Perth. I wouldn't have believed it. Top tip is to add some azalea fertiliser to our alkaline soil (or more honestly, sand). They are fantastic fresh from the garden — and no pesticides!
