Sky Garden – new cover!

sky garden, kindle unlimited cozy mystery, london romance,

I’ve given Sky Garden a new cover. I think this one has a lot more pop than the original. Subtle might be over-rated ๐Ÿ˜‰

On the rooftops of London, you can be anyone.

A year ago, Lanie Briers escaped a serial killer. She grew up in a theatre family and her act was mediumship, but not anymore. Life, now, is a hidden retreat above a quirky Bloomsbury museum, where she waits and watches.

Nick Tawes is an unexpected intrusion. Heโ€™s a landscape architect filming a television series on roof gardens, and he intends to build one in Lanieโ€™s aerial territory. He has his own demons, old family troubles, that lure Lanie out of her refuge and into living again.

But as summer progresses and the sky garden grows, Lanieโ€™s enemy is closing inโ€”because some secrets must go to the grave.

    1. Thank you, Alix ๐Ÿ™‚ I liked the old cover, too — obviously or I wouldn’t have attempted KS with it. But the new one hopefully will grab attention

    1. Adan – I think you captured the change with “sense of hopefulness”. Yes! I’m wondering if the first cover was burdened by my seriousness (fear) of trying Kindle Scout. But I learned a lot trying KS – and met some great people ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Mary, I value your opinion so much! Thank you for the reassurance. Here’s hoping the new cover helps push Sky Garden out into the world (kindles) ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Well, thank you, ma’am. As I mentioned in another post, it’s very appealing and caught my eye immediately. I’m one of those that falls in love with covers first. Had I not already read and enjoyed SKY GARDEN, this cover would definitely be a seller for me.
