  1. Congrats to the winners. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have every book in the Collegium series so far (and I’m impatiently waiting for the next one.)

Love, love, love them. Anyone who hasn’t read them yet, you are missing out and you don’t want to do that. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. The only thing I like about summer is staying inside and whittling down my pile of books. I love winter, and yes, I’m the weird one who wanders around in 30F degree weather wearing shorts and short sleeves.

    • Brrr. That’s a bit too cool for me! But I don’t like baking hot summer days, either. I’d happily live in autumn forever.

    • Tara – I was lucky. I grew up about a mile from the beach – of course, in between was industry with an oil refinery nearby, but … beach! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Took me forever to get here, but I made it, if only to give you a cheer for your blog hop and the beach. ๐Ÿ™‚

No internet, spotty internet, then mobs of visiting friends have kept me offline.

I like your beach. Is it as secluded as it looks?

    • Maria, at least the internet waited till you had friends visiting, and not organising the visit, before it crashed … looking for the silver lining ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for popping in. The beach is quiet on weekdays in winter, not so quiet weekends! I prefer quiet.

  4. Gotta admit… I love holding a book & turning pages! I’m a bit old fashioned ๐Ÿ˜‰
Love the pictures… I adore being outside in the summer!

    • Glad you liked the pics, Kelly – I like being outside in summer … in the EARLY morning. Before it gets baking hot. Over 100f and I’m done.

I get you on real books — although I’ve discovered one benefit of ebooks — the silverfish can’t eat them!

    • It took me a little while, too. I missed my paper pages. But now – I love that I can read a big book without holding extra weight.

  5. I prefer mobi files. Your beach looks very relaxing,im jealous!
I enjoy reading outside any chance i get. Thanks for sharing with us.

    • It’s a lovely beach – just wish it was closer ๐Ÿ™‚ My dream (the one where I win Lotto) is to live walking distance to a beach.

  6. Wow, it looks beautiful in Perth! Lucky! It’s hot and humid here in Southern Indiana and I’m actually counting down the days until Autumn. It’s my favorite season ๐Ÿ™‚ I already can’t wait for pumpkin flavored everything! lol

    • As an Aussie I never understood the appeal of pumpkin – till I learned of all the yummy spices in your pumpkin goodies. Yum!

  7. I love Mobi. That picture looks so nice. Even though I do enjoy summer, I actually prefer winter as long as it’s not too cold. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you so much for the giveaway! ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Always love seeing your real life adventures. I’m definitely not feeling sorry for you. Only myself! It’s so doggone hot here. As I’ve mentioned before, so not a fan of summer. Fall can’t come soon enough. I long for a cool breeze. Your river/ocean pics did cool me off a bit. Perth is just beautiful. One day. ONE. DAY. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Woohoo! Happy 4th of July to everyone who celebrates it.

I’ve been sleeping – living in Australia definitely presents some timezone challenges!

However, I’m all caught up now. Everyone who has commented has received a copy of “Demon Hunter” which closes that small element of this giveaway. However, the grand prize of the $75 giftcard is still up for grabs, so enter now!

If you’ve commented but not received a copy of “Demon Hunter”, gremlins must have eaten my email. Please comment here and I’ll try emailing you again.

Thanks, everyone, waking up to your friendly comments was awesome.

  10. Epub is what I use. And it looks beautiful in Perth. I’m inperpetual summer here in Florida.

  11. I have a Kindle thank you.

Winter in Perth looks even warmer than winter in SEQ. (I have been running around in a T-shirt this week.)
