Blurb

A whisper campaign threatens Vanda Kavanagh’s hard-won position as Warden of Caldryn Parliament, but are the malicious rumors a personal attack or do they mask an uglier plot?

As Vanda investigates, long-hidden truths are revealed leading her to question everything she believed about herself.

In a city steeped in magic and political intrigue who can Vanda trust?

Since you only receive this newsletter when I have a new book out, I want to take this chance to mention a few things.

2025 has certainly been an interesting year. Personally, it’s been a busy one and a few things that I hoped to get done have been pushed back to 2026. Chief among these are audiobooks and paperback editions. I’ve been promising both for years. I’m going to start with my most recent books (the Caldryn Parliament series) and work back from there, filling in gaps. Some of my books are available as audiobooks. None are available in paperback. This will change! ::shakes fist at the sky and dares fate::

Also on the schedule are three new books in the Caldryn Parliament series, Ghosts Cry, False Eve, and By Night. If I’m lucky, I’ll be able to fit in some extra fun stuff, but the schedule is bulging at the seams, so no promises!

If you’re wondering how to keep up with what I’m doing, I have a weekly blog post on Caldryn.com. You can check it out here. I’m also hoping to keep up my weekly Facebook posts, although Facebook drives me barmy.

You can find me hanging out on Bluesky. I’ve consciously curated my feed there to find interesting things relating to science and history, some of which I repost. The politics seems inescapable, but I keep my own posts positive. (All right, occasionally I get cranky and whine for more coffee. And chocolate. So, mostly positive).

If you want to check out my backlist of books you can do so on my website (at Books, broken into Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Paranormal Romance) or on Amazon. All my self-published books are currently available in Kindle Unlimited.

I think that’s it for news and reminders. ::scratches head:: I’ve probably forgotten something.

I hope you have the loveliest of festive seasons, peaceful and hopeful, and launch into the new year with energy to lassoo your dreams.

Jenny
