After that long and moderately stressful campaign, Kindle Scout has rejected Sky Garden. I’m disappointed, but I was prepared for this response, and I’ll be self-publishing Sky Garden. Everything is ready to go, I just have to do some of the behind the scenes stuff and it’ll be out in the world. I hope you enjoy it!

I’m sorry to hear that but at least you have it all set up to go for self-publishing.
Thanks, Shelley. It was disappointing, but on the upside, I retain total control over “Sky Garden” for the future. And it’s out in the world now, so that’s good. Another book out in 2015 ๐
Doggoneit! Just opening email & reading post. Who needs Kindle Scout anyway!! Not the great Jenny Schwartz, self-publishing extraordinaire! You got this, girl!!
(((Hugs)))
Jenny, had really hoped yours would be accepted. I’m glad you have an alternate plan(s). Look fwd to keeping up with your efforts. All the best ๐
Thanks, Adan — evidently they’re holding that publishing spot open for your book! ๐ Good luck, and thank you for all your support.
