Tomorrow is release day for Djinn Justice, a full year after the first Collegium novella released last December. It’s been a busy year.
I’ve published five sweet short romances that together make up the Texas Kisses Collection.
Escape Publishing brought out three more short Australian coastal romances and bundled them with two of my other short stories to create Love, Coast-to-Coast.
In April, I released a literary novella, Empty, as my something different in 2015. Its cover is one of my favourites.
Ainslie Paton coordinated a fun anthology of short stories by Escape Publishing authors that is free everywhere but Amazon (because Amazon is still being stubborn about setting it free), and I had great fun writing Luke’s story for it. What a kiss! Welcome to Cafe Nix.
Beyond Regeneration let me explore “what if…?” and showcase one of the most beautiful places in Australia. Science fiction should always push boundaries, whether they’re emotional, mental or physical.
Finally, I published Sky Garden which occupied so much of my attention this year and which I love. If I could move to the Horry Museum, I probably would! Although Nick’s family home is pretty awesome, too — a Tudor stone manor house.
And I think I forgot to mention another short coastal romance, Light Kisses, set on Australia’s east coast.
All of which probably explains why I’m tired!
In 2016 I’ll have fewer releases, but they’ll be novel length (mostly). First up, is Dragon Knight. And I’m currently turning over ideas for I Stole An Island. Boldt Castle won’t feature in the book in any way, but it’s one of the fascinating places my research has uncovered. Has anyone been there? It’s on an island, one of the 1000 Islands, between Canada and the United States.

I have been to the Thousand Islands, many times as a child. My uncle actually owned a place in the area….best wishes to you for 2016 and tons of renewed energy!
You lucky thing! The 1000 islands look amazing – new bucket list addition 🙂
Best wishes for you in 2016, too, Veronica!
