Dream A Little

First up, I have a fantasy book promo to share with you – the Fantasy Fanatic Promo from March 15-30. Then I want to talk about dreams. And finally, there’s a sneak peek at the cover for a stand-alone science fiction novel that I’m thinking of writing (and yes, The Ceph Sector will be out soon. Finally).

Fantasy Fanatic Promo – March 15-30

No excessive gore or graphic sex, just adventure and imagination in these fabulous fantasy novels in the Fantasy Fanatic promotion. Some are free, others 99c, none should be more than $2.99. Enjoy!

Lucid Dreaming

I have lots of strange dreams. My mum’s theory (mums always have a health-related theory for the children’s weirdnesses, have you noticed?) is that my brain’s too busy.

Hmm. Could she be right? I wish my brain would usefully dream up solutions to plot tangles in my current project.

According to the notion of lucid dreaming it is possible to direct one’s dreams to a purpose. Have you ever been in control of a dream? I can’t think of a time when I have. My dreams seem to just throw me around from one impossibility to the next. Very disconcerting!

Where’s the Interstellar Sheriff When You Need Him?

I’m wondering whether to throw my writing and publishing schedule out the window and add Space Deputy to 2018. I’m very tempted. The idea for it is entertaining and … I’m not going to say anything more because I’m a terrible tease 😉 Here’s the cover while I think about whether to write it now or later.

  1. Being a dreamwalker would be pretty cool (some of the time). Knowing me, I’d wander into the wrong kind of dream. LOL

Darn it, that cover gives away nothing. LOL A little bit of teasing indeed.

  2. I have tried lucid dreaming. I’ve even been aware that I’m in a dream and steer it toward a direction I want. As I get older though, it’s harder to remember my dreams though. I try to remember the dreams I had just before I wake up because it’s usually solving a problem I’ve been having.

If I can hold on to that dream, I immediately go fix whatever I was having trouble with as soon as I wake up.
